    Chairman's Report
1.
   Newsletter
   

All reports have now been provided for the newsletter so at the next committee meeting it will be ready for distribution.
2.
   Recruitment
    Over 30 people at training so this is going well. AM to get names and addresses of new players and update list. BW to provide AM with names and addresses of college leavers at next meeting. AM to get copies of yearbooks from the last 3-4 years from Rob Bailey on OL Day. PA is in charge of arranging January game against the school at Cobham. Please speak with Chris Metcalf to confirm date.
3.
   3rd XI
   

Unfortunately the JLC match against Bradfield has had to be cancelled. The next 3’s game is against Cranleigh on Sunday 7 November at 1pm. Neil Moulton is captain and is arranging the side.
4.
   LOBFC Handbook
   

The Committee agreed this is a great idea. To be discussed at next meeting with Jeremy Taylor present. JT to get a quote for booklet.
5.
   Sponsorship
   

AM confirmed that we can have a sponsor, so ideas please at next meeting, or email the site.
6.
   Insurance
   

Although not a requirement by the Arthurian League, the committee felt we should be covered. At the next meeting we need a volunteer to look further into this.

    Captains' Report
1.
   Teams
   

Both captains named their teams for the weekend. There is a number of players not presently getting a game that we need to keep happy. AP and JD to keep talking to and encouraging these players.
2.
   Squads
   

Both captains named the players currently available for selection.
    Discipline Report
    AP and BW kindly attended the discipline meeting on behalf of the committee due to the fact that we passed Stage 5 last season. The result was that we have received a suspended point reduction, applicable in the event of us passing Stage 5 this season. Both captains to keep stressing the importance of discipline to their sides each week.

   Dinner
   

NE confirmed date with Portman Hotel of Friday 24th March. JT and RG to contact Sir Tim Rice to give him notice. The cost will be 40 pounds per head, and invitations will be sent out in January. All monies to be received in advance.
2.
   Direct Debits
   

A list of possible new members of NB’s era has been discussed. Also, supporters which AM, NB, JT and NE need to liaise. JT to write personally to these people enclosing a newsletter. After the LOBFC Dinner, JT to write to some of our existing members who are paying less than our recommended 20 pounds.
3.
   Cobham Bill
   

NB has now received the invoice from Imperial College for 1,800 pounds for 18 pitches at Cobham, and is to settle this bill. This figure excludes teas which will cost an additional 50 pounds per game
