Chairman's Report
1. Game against the School
   

PA to confirm with Chris Metcalf that the game against the school at Cobham will take place on 15th January 2000. JS to contact Martin Bryant as soon as possible to confirm that we are unable to play league fixtures on both 8th and 15th January.

2. Arthur Dunn Cup 1st Round vs Old Millhillians
    11 December confirmed. NE to ask Richard Davies that the match be played on the upper field. JT to call Nick Rimmer and advise him of new date.
3. Insurance
   

PH to provide BW with details of the AFA's recommendations for a decision at the next meeting..

4. Members List
   

AP to provide AM with the disk for him to update

Finances
1. Bank
  Current balance £1,100.

Outstanding monies

 

To be updated at next meetin and collected by end of January.

Direct Debits

 

We have already had a great response. £560 collected within ten days. NB to check with the bank that the forms are complete.

4.

Bank Mandate

  The accounts are now ready to hand over to RG. AM to check with the bank that the mandate we have is the correct one.
5.

Match Fees

  Captains to send cheques to RG as soon as possible
6.

Reimbursement

    AM owed £70 for the newsletter. PH owed £120 for club subscription. NB to pay these as soon as possible.
Dinner
  • Organisers:- NB, NE & SK. An invitation to go out in January to everyone who is neither in Nick Rimmer's party or a player. AM to provide labels.
  • Speakers for organisers to approach:- 1. Jeremy Taylor 2. John Robinson/Nick Bell/Martin Wyatt 3. NE's friend from Old Finchleians.
  • Guests:- Robert Worthy (Arthurian League), David Roy (Arthur Dunn Cup), John Wilson (AFA), Ken Shearwood, the Headmaster and Chris Metcalf.
Tour
 

We have been invited back to Protugal. To be discussed at next meeting. A UK tournament over a weekend has also been suggested.

LOBFC Booklet
 

JT has a quote for an A5 booklet of £400. With our funds already low, it was agreed that monies will be reaised through JT approaching the 'older members' of the club. NE to provide AM with the Rovers booklet and the old fixture card which has all the names of vice-presidents.
