1. Dinner

Speakers: Mihir Bose & Bill Relyia both confirmed attendance. Chris Snell and John Hastings unavailable. Nick Evans to present Tim Buckley award.

Menu: The menu was discussed and agreed and AM to send to NE.

Numbers: SK predicted 90 -110.

Guests: Ken Shearwood, Chris Metcalf, Peter Tinniswood, James Butcher, Alex Doddesworth.

School Tour: It was agreed that after our contribution last year we would not be contributing directly. However it was agreed that Nick Gwilliam could say a few words and place collection envelopes on each table.

Table plan: SK to discuss with NE. NB to confirm his table as well as email Neil Grainger and confirm his table.

John Bell: Unfortunately would be unable to attend but has sent £100 to the club. AM to write and thank him after the dinner.

2. Finances and outstanding monies.

Balance - £2,800

Outstanding monies - NB has collected Hopcroft's 2001 dinner cheque and informed Neil Grainger that he still owes for three last year.

Monies paid - All fines, Battersea and Cobham paid uptodate.

3. Captain's Report and Club Management

Fixtures - Ben Walls away this weekend so AM to arrange pitch, teas, opposition, ref for the 1's game. No 2's game.

Training - Battersea now booked for three additional Wednesdays in April.

1st X1 - Still a possibility of staying up. Last five remaining games, Carts (H). Cholms (H&A), Chigs ( H), Harrow (A).

2nd X1 - Reached the Junior League cup semi final against Eton 3's (A) on 23/3/02. Three league games remaining and will require 4-5 points to avoid the drop.

4. Tour Update

The committee thanked Oli Bailey for his hard work in organising the tour. 13 Lobs will make the trip. 2 matches organised and flights, accom and transfers totalled £200 per person.

Players list - AM to provide NB with the players list.

LOBFC list - We now have over 300 names on our mailing list which thanks to Jeremy Mclachlan is now up-to-date. However this list contains a lot of 'dead wood'. Names will remain on the list if they are recognised club members or attend the dinner regularly. Once the dead wood is recognised a letter will be written asking them if they still want to remain on the mailing list.
