1. Secretary's Report

AFA CUP: The 1st X1 have been drawn against Chigwell (a) on Saturday 25 October 2.30pm ko.

Arthur Dunn Cup: The 1st X1 have been drawn against Wellingborough (h) in the first round of the Dunn. Proposed date is Saturday 6 December 2pm ko at the college. AP to confirm fixture with the college, ref, oppo and David Roy as well as confirm teas.

2. New Ground

Roehampton: It has been agreed throughout the club that the facilities at Roehampton are not good enough. It solved the immediate problem for the start of the season. Although we have paid £432 up front, we will be reimbursed circa £200 if we do not play there again this season. AM to cancel all games until Christmas.

Cobham: A pitch has become available at Cobham and AM to confirm one pitch every week as from 22 November. We have reserved two pitches on the 8 Nov as both sides will be playing there on that day. Cost is £85 plus VAT per game and teas are £2.50 per person (minimum of 25 need to be ordered). The committee agreed with the costings.

3. Treasurer’s report/ Finances

Balance: £2,200

Subscriptions: We have only received a few subs cheques. Al M to inform all those yet to pay to settle up by Saturday November 8th. A list will then be distributed on a regular basis until monies are settled.

Outstanding monies: Al M to chase the following:

4. Captains report and club management

Teams: The squads were discussed and agreed for the forthcoming weekend. A list of every player available this season was distributed and discussed.

5.Newsletter

Chairman, 1stX1, 2nd X1 and Vets captain all to send reports to Ben C by Monday 3 November. Labels also to be sent. BC to get the newsletter printed and sent out asap. Ben C to be re-imbursed immediately for printing costs and postage. It was agreed that all players can see the newsletter through the website.

Lancing Magazine: Pieter Heyn to ensure John Selmon has a copy of our newsletter.

6. Recruitment

LOBFC V Lancing College: AP to contact Chris Metcalf to get this fixture organised on 10th Jan or 17th Jan 2004. The game is to be played at Cobham. This is also to be cleared with the league.

Friends Reunited: It was agreed that James Butcher would subscribe into this website and advertise the club. AM to chase.
