Lancing 2s1-3 Bradfield 2s

Turn up at various locations. Assemble. No ref. No 'keeper. So, from 12 to 11, Guy steps between sticks. 2 down early. Keeper left exposed for first, quality finish for second. Penalty, given by ref (Bradfield sub). Just inside the post. 2-1. Bradfield are panicking. LOBs are playing. Half-time. Bradfield declare LOBs will have to supply ref for next 45 (well I would!). Russ blows to start the second half. LOBs do well with only 10. Late challenges, and desperate clearances lead to LOBs with numerous chances, and half-chances. Long throws, corners, free-kicks but to no avail. Bradfield snatch another on the break. Seems to spur LOBs on. Superb final 15 from all. Time ran out.

Worked tirelessly to the final whistle in the full knowledge, that given another day, with another ref, a squad, then the day, result, and points would be theirs. That time WILL come.

Goulo ?
Guy stepped into the breach. Donned gloves in Goulo's unexpected absence. Left exposed early doors. Distribution - faultless.
Scum tireless performance. Superb strike late on. According to Bradfield, he had 'all day', or was this inappropriate advice for their slightly chubby 'keeper. A super-strike, no a wonder-goal IS looming.
Yosef huge game from the cow-tank. Beginning to think about tactics, that play to our strengths. Bradfield 10, decided to have a go late on. However, once Yosef got back on his feet.............
Ed D Tom, stepped into a pair of big boots - and filled them superbly. M.O.M. Superb.
Chris W excellent work down the right - should demand more of the ball.
Ant hard and relentlessly battles, to command the midfield, from this fancy dresser.
Al M Masterful display. The envy of the oppo. The ultimate compliment?
Oli Managed to get forward more as the game went on. More than made up for the LOBs being down to 10, in the second half.
Russ caused absolute havoc down the left in the first half, causing 'Brad boys to force him into refereeing the second half. Although he was equally as good with the whistle, this was a great shame.
THE CAT looked slightly hungrier than last week. Need more from Cat-vet.
Justin P vast improvement. Ran at defenders. Linked-up well. Began to defend from the front. Cool head for penalty slot - quality advice of 'go right' worked a treat.
