Hi Lads
I'm still finalising a few of the finer details for the tour but
thought I'd give you an update as to where we stand at the moment
and the proposed itinerary.

The competition for awards this year has been thrown wide open
without the attendance of regular winners such as Kelse, Al Mercer
and Wallsy. Nick Evans heads the table in terms of tour experience
(and horror tackles whilst on tour - Portugal) yet the 2002 touring
party is relatively inexperienced and only includes two previous
Tour Bore winners (one of which is disputed by Ev). Last year Piercey
secured a huge number of votes for Tour Bore but interestingly his
vote went to Leesy who apparently hasn't forgotten that.
As you know we are off to sunny Mallorca where the LOBs toured
in '94 or '95 when I personally was 'lost on tour' and didn't come
back for 3 and half years……
Rough Itinerary
Thursday 9th May
12:25 flight leaves Stansted Airport
15:55 arrive Palma de Mallorca airport
16:30 bus/taxi to Puerto Pollensa (am currently speaking to local
firm to get a deal)
17:30 check in to 'hotel'
18:15 go to local restaurant for quick meal
19:30 leave in taxi to Alcudia Club ground
20:30 Kick-off Alcudia II's v LOBs Tourists
22:15 Shower/change out on the town
Friday 10th May
No plans as yet but potentially….
Lunch - in Cala San Vicente at Restaurante El Pinar
Afternoon - chill out in the Cala on the beach/ can arrange kick
around??
Evening - nice meal in Puerto Pollensa & out on the town
Saturday 11th May
Lunch - in Puerto Pollensa
Afternoon - beach in Puerto Pollensa
Late afternoon - Kick off (TBC but looking at approx. 17:00) Pollensa
v LOBs tourists
Evening - back to Puerto Pollensa for meal and out on the town
Sunday 12th May
Could leave early-ish and go down to Palma for lunch or lunch in
Puerto
16:35 flight leaves Palma airport
18:05 arrive Stansted airport
The itinerary is not fixed and we can decide nearer the time what
people would prefer to do when we are not playing. There is a 9
hole golf course just outside of Pollensa for those who might want
to play on the Friday and I can enquire about prices. Alternatively
there is a waterpark in Alcudia, go-karting etc... or the beach……………..
